Fungi Perfecti's Grain Spawn Jar comes in a reusable 1-gallon glass jar fitted with an autoclavable lid and Synthetic Filter Disc (approximate yield per jar: 2/3 gallon). Each unit is a first- or second-generation Grain Master that can be expanded up to 1000 times its mass.

Please note: Unlike our ready-to-grow Mushroom Patches and Mushroom Plug Spawn, our Grain Spawn does not come with instructions. It is assumed that the purchaser is sufficiently familiar with mushroom culture technique to utilize these cultures. The books Growing Gourmet & Medicinal Mushrooms and The Mushroom Cultivator are essential tools in this endeavor.

Turnaround time for most orders is 2 - 3 days; however, occasional backorders may occur. Please check the availability and estimated date of shipping for your spawn when ordering. We do our very best to insure that quality spawn is produced. We can not, however, be responsible for the condition of spawn once shipped. We prefer to ship via UPS 3 Day Select or Federal Express. If the spawn arrives defective, it will replaced at no charge provided we are notified within 48 hours of delivery and the defective spawn is returned. Since we cannot control the methods by which this spawn is used, no promises or claims about yields are made (there are simply too many factors). This spawn is being offered as a service. We encourage all commercial cultivators to develop sterile culture skills to create their own spawn. Promoting sterile culture is our business.
