This fascinating fungus (Pleurotus ostreatus var. columbinus) is a cold-weather variant of the Pearl Oyster Mushroom. It produces beautiful, dark blue mushrooms that lighten in color as they mature. Requires temperatures of approximately 65° Fahrenheit to produce. Freezing is not harmful to this kit.
