| Store Policies (For Mail Order Customers) General Policies We make every effort to ensure that information is accurate at the time we publish it on our website. However, record labels and distributors sometimes change release dates, formats, prices, track listings, and other details. This is beyond our control. Therefore, all item descriptions are provided with the understanding that these factors are subject to change. We never charge your credit card until your order is packed and ready to ship. You may cancel any or all items from your order at any time prior to your order being packed. Once your order is packed, it is not possible for us to unpack items from your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. We are not responsible for typographical errors but will correct them as soon as possible when notified. Credit card fraud is a federal offense, as is postal fraud. We always prosecute fraudulent orders to the full extent allowed by law, including but not limited to legal action in civil court to recover damages. All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change. Our policies for purchases made in our retail store are posted at our retail location and do not apply to mail orders. We are available by telephone 7 days a week, 361 days a year. Our phone hours are 12pm-10pm EST daily, 7pm Sundays. We are closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Fat Tuesday. We close at 5pm on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and during the Greek Picnic weekend. We are open for regular hours during all other holidays. Our retail store operates on the same schedule. All items are guaranteed to be brand new. Some imports are shipped to us from our distributor without shrinkwrap, and some small labels do not use shrink wrap. Payment We never charge your credit card for your order until such time as your items are in stock and your order is ready to be packed. If your credit card is declined, we will attempt to notify you. However, we will not necessarily "hold" items for you while we await your reply. Please ensure that you keep us up to date on any changes to your credit card information. We accept all major credit cards. We accept personal cheques drawn on a US bank (must have your name and address on the cheque; no starter cheques) but orders paid for in this fashion will be held until your cheque clears. We also accept money orders. Customers ordering from overseas should be sure to purchase an international money order payable in US funds. If you wish to pay through PayPal, please email us for instructions. We do not ship COD. Orders shipped to Pennsylvania are subject to a 6% sales tax (7% in Philadelphia). Clothing is exempt from this tax. We offer volume discounts for large orders ($300+). Please contact us for details. Shipping and Handling Some limited edition items, fragile items, and any event tickets, must be shipped with a tracking number (UPS or USPS with tracking). Such items will be clearly noted in their description text. If instructions are disregarded and a non-trackable shipping method is chosen, the shipping method will automatically be switched to a trackable shipping method (usually UPS Ground). All orders are securely packaged and it is very rare that orders are damaged or lost. We are not responsible for any damage to or loss of your package; damage or loss is the responsibility of the shipping company (usually UPS or the United States Postal Service). We will be happy to provide you with any information helpful in pursuing this matter with the shipping company (e.g. tracking number for UPS items, receipt of mailing for USPS items, etc.) but loss/damage is strictly their responsibility. In general, we recommend shipping via UPS Ground. It is more expensive, but your package is automatically insured, has a tracking number, and is delivered on a specific schedule. For example, orders being shipped by UPS Ground will be delivered overnight to NJ, DE, MD, DC, NYC and most of PA, VA, CT and NY. Please refer to the map below for more information. Note that the UPS map shows delivery times in business days (i.e. excluding Saturday and Sunday) and begins from the day we ship your order. 
UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. Do not select UPS as a ship method if you are shipping to a PO Box as it will delay your order. If you would like to pick up your merchandise in person during our normal business hours at our retail location, you may do so by selecting "HOL" (Hold for Pickup) as your shipping method. There is no charge for this, although regular Philadelphia sales tax will apply. When our system emails you to advise you that your order has been packed and is ready to "ship," you may visit our retail location to pick it up. Orders shipped internationally may be delayed by customs or foreign postal services. They may also be subject to import taxes or fees, which are imposed by the receiving country and of course are beyond our control. For a variety of reasons, we regret that we are unable to ship to the following countries: Belarus, Estonia, Ghana, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Phillipines, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yugoslavia. Stock Availability, Backorders and Pre-Orders At any given point in time, we have roughly six thousand different items in stock. There are additional items that we run out of stock on, stock infrequently, or only stock if they are actually ordered by a customer. Some out of stock items can be re-stocked the next day from a US supplier. Some harder to find titles, especially imports, may take longer to re-stock if they are not in stock at the time of your order. If you choose not to wait for us to re-stock an item in your order that is out of stock, you may cancel that item at any time prior to your order being packed. If your order contains multiple items and some of them are out of stock and expected to be out of stock for a week or more, we may "ship ahead" the items that we have in stock and send the remainder of your order when it arrives. Of course you may always contact us and ask us to process your order differently - for example, you might ask us to hold your order until all items are in stock. We offer many items for pre-order weeks or sometimes months before they are actually released. By pre-ordering an item, you ensure that we will process your order for that item as soon as it is in stock. In some cases, we can ship your order before the official release date of an item. We sometimes offer special prices on pre-orders as an extra incentive. Of course with limited edition items, we strongly encourage pre-orders as these items are offered on a "first come, first served" basis. In any case, we do not charge your card for pre-ordered items until they are in stock and ready to be packed and shipped. We make every effort to process orders in a logical fashion. For example, if a customer's order includes three recent releases as well as a pre-order for a CD that will be released two months later, we assume the customer wants the three recent releases immediately, with the pre-ordered release being shipped separately at a later date. However, these determinations are made by human beings after careful review, and not instantaneously by computers. You can help streamline this process and speed up the processing of your order by considering this. In the previous example, placing an order for the three current releases and a separate order for the unreleased pre-order item would be helpful. As always, if you want to contact us with specific instructions for your order, please feel free to do so. Returns of Defective Product All sales are final. We accept returns only on defective items, and only within 30 days of purchase. In such cases, we will replace the defective item for a non-defective version of the exact same item. You must contact us in advance for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) before returning goods to us. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender. We cannot accept returns on clothing for any reason. Privacy / Security We never make our customer list available to outside companies. However, we do occasionally mail postcards with event or new release announcements to our customers. We will sometimes send email to alert customers to new releases based on purchases they previously made. If you would prefer not to receive such communication from us, please contact us and let us know and we will take the appropriate steps to ensure that you are not bothered.
