This new BACKWORLD Mini-album contains five new exclusive songs. They represent the first work of this Scottish Neo-Folk act after the release of last year's "Seeds Of Love" EP. Two of the songs ('All That Remains' and 'Be A Friend') are from the same sessions as their last EP and feature Todd Cohen and Julia Kent (Antony And The Johnsons) and Laura Rogers (The Roger Sisters). The other three tracks, recorded in July and August 2004 in Glasgow, introduce a completely new band line-up. Of special mention is Anissa Tonberg, a Highland Folk musician whose violin adds a thoroughly new dimension to the sound of BACKWORLD. With "All That Remains" BACKWORLD have ultimately reached a pure and fully American Folk sound that possesses an exquisite melancholic mood as well as real pop appeal.
