Artist:
Tanzwut
Overview:
Side project of the medieval mischief makers of Corvus Corax. Tanzwut retains much of the medieval influence, but incorporates electronic elements as well.
Format:
CD
Details:
Just in time for the premiere of their acoustic medieval show at the "Kaltenberger Ritteturnier 2011", the band Tanzwut will release their first acoustic album of pure medieval music - "Morus et Diabolus". It is not a coincidence that Tanzwut, founded as a medieval industrial band, will forge ahead to the markets of the dark ages and dive into the frenetic bustling of bards - it is rather a logical progression, since most of the band members tramped around with bagpipes and drums before they rocked the stages of electronic music. "Morus et Diabolus" is not an attempt to conquer unknown lands, it is a return to their roots.
Released mid-July, 2011 on Teufel Records.
