This 'Best of' compilation for the Swiss Gothic act invites on a timetravel from early Goth into modern Elektrotunes. Founded in 1996 with the target to compose music for lyrics, Irrlicht were primarily influenced by 'New German Sound Art'-bands such as Das Ich, Goethes Erben, Misantrophe, producing a well balanced mix of Darkwave & Electrogoth. In 2003, Illuminate-member Daniela Dietz (Vocals) joined the band and through this change, the band was breaking new grounds: The classically trained voice of Daniela replaced the former spoken words for good: Spherical, dreamily tunes, sparkling pianos & wide spheres combined with rhythmic and danceable elements - but the Lyrics, mostly in German or French language, remained always ambitious and profound.

Released late February, 2012 on Danse Macabre.
