Almost 17 years after BIONIC's debut 'Rest in Peace' (Off Beat 1995) and 2 after the comeback album 'Close to Nature', the electro project is back with their master-piece! While the preceding album clearly transported classic EBM elements into the new decade, the new album goes one step further and breaks new ground for the band as well as for the fanbase. The whole sound has been broaden by specifically using rhythmic and melodic guitar passages, gripping hooks, heavy basslines and break beat elements whose combination sounds so alive and fresh that you can quite rightly speak about a "reincarnation" - of both BIONIC and the above described musical style whose forerunner back in the 90s had been bands like "Prodigy". BIONIC knows how to create their own sound universes containing catchy melodies and a necessary aggression. Therefore, the four atmospheric instrumentals top the album and the musical range equally off. "Meadowland" impresses with richness of ideas and detail, compositional concentration and a really powerful production taking the sound to the place where it should be: to your ears and your legs!
